The time is here and we are celebrating Nick!

Our story started 18 years ago, when my world was truly blessed by the birth of my son Nicolas. Nick will be celebrating his 18th birthday as well as graduating from Desert Oasis High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. As I reflect, we surely did not see or expect how the last semester of high school would pan out. As I can certainly dwell on COVID19 and how it has affected Nick’s senior year; I choose to focus on the positive: our health, our family and the memories we have made throughout the years. Nick looks forward to the small celebrations with his family and close friends. And even if they aren’t going to be like others we have done in the past, as long as we are together is what counts the most.

Nicolas Samuel Ochoa-Aguilar, whew long name! We have laugh about why I named him Nicolas – the story goes – at the time in 2002 Nicolas Cage was one of my favorite actors therefore I was a quick to name him Nicolas. We have a laugh all the time. Nick is also named in honor of my father Samuel. When I look at Nick, he has my dad’s smile and his father, Arturo’s spirit. Nick is very loving and caring; he has a calm demeanor and when he is around others, he is certainly the life of the party. My business name is in his honor and I focus every day to display to Nick how important it is to be happy, be focused, the meaning of life but most of all be passionate in what he does – this is how he will get through the days of his life.
